1. Ao Tha Lane ;

5 mn from Tha Lane Bay Villa by car Kayaking at Ao Tha Lane is the one of the most enjoyable trips in Krabi. Exploring sea caves, natural lagoons, mangrove forest and many other cave before going along the tidal forest to observe many species of animals. Sightseeing by canoe through the majestic cliffs and the quiet nature along the gorge that leads into the mountains.

2. Kho Hong;

30 mins by long tail boat from Tha Lane Bay Villa There are both large and small islands. The main ones are: Laga or Saga Island , Lao Riem Island , and Lao Lading Island . These islands have great hollows inside them. Kho Hong is the largest. It is rocky with coral formations in both shallow and deep waters; they are great for diving, fishing and boating.

3. Ao Nang 30 mins by car

A group of 83 islands lie within Ao Nang Bay, many of which are rapidly accessible by a long tail boat ride. From the town of Ao Nang , you can enjoy tremendous views of surrounding islands, including Kho Poda, while relaxing on the long stretch of a beautiful beach that runs the length of the town. Boats are available for Rai lay Beach and Phra Nang.

6. Susaan Hoi 20 mins by car

Susaan Hoi, or Shell Fossil Beach , is the sight of a remarkable geological formation, a 75 million year-old “shell cemetery”. Successive layering of shells over millions of years created the “Shelly limestone”, which is over 40 cm. thick. Scientifically verified, this product of the Tertiary Age exists in only two other places in the world.

Right behind Jao Fah Pier in Krabi town lies one of Krabi’s richest natural wonders: kilometers of pristine Mangrove Forest, home to an astonishing variety of birds which have drawn birdwatchers from all over the world. Cruising in a long tail boat or a sea canoe, keep your eyes open for species such as Gurney’s Pittas, Brown-winged Kingfishers, Flamebacks, Pacific Reef Eagles and Dollarbirds.

Both islands harbor secluded white, sandy beaches as well as abundant bird, animal and sea life. You can hike the 1.2 km. nature trail on Phi Phi Don for a stunning view of the island and surrounding ocean or take a long-tail boat around Phi Phi Lay and view the famous Swiftlet bird nest caves, where villagers perch on precarious bamboo scaffolds to collect the nests, highly prized in Chinese cuisine. The Phi Phi islands may be reached easily from Jao Fah Pier in town or from Ao Nang Beach.

10. Wat Tham Sua Meditation Center

Just 9 km. from Krabi town ” Tiger Cave ” temple is a must-see on your exploration of Krabi. There’s much to see and do here, including climbing the 300 steps to see the Buddha’s footprints and exploring the trails and caves that wind through the forest floor. 11. Huoy Toe Waterfall 30 mins by car Located in the Khao Phanom Bencha National Park , this waterfall is just a short trip from the hotel. The waterfall has 11 levels, each of which contains a natural pool of clear water at least 4 or 5 meters wide; the luxurious surrounding jungle makes the setting even more beautiful.

12. Khao Phanom Bencha National Park 40 mins by car

The entrance to this magnificent national park lies 20 km. outside of Krabi town and contains many interesting sites, including the Huoy Toe, Huoy Saday and Ton Hahn waterfalls, the Tahm Khao Ping Cave with many fascinating stalactites and stalagmites, as well as miles of lush forest and rugged hills. Khao Phanom Bencha is also one of Krabi’s most important wildlife reserves and is home to more than 156 species of birds and 32 species of mammals. Two hiking trails penetrate into the heart of the park but involve steep climbing. However, if you’re up to it, the hike is well worth the trip.

13. Thung Tieo Nature Trail

Located 16 km from the town of Klong Tom in southern Krabi, this natural trail was created to help conserve the area’s last remnant of true lowland forest in southern Thailand . The trail itself is just 2.7 km long and crosses mostly on ground level through the forest. It’s an excellent opportunity to observe the many species of bird, plant and animal life, which inhabit the park. At the end of the trail lies a clear water pool, perfect for a quick swim at the end of your walk.

14. Nam Tok Ron (Hot Spring)

There’s nothing quite so spectacular as relaxing in a shady natural hot spring, surrounded by the towering rainforest. You can enjoy this unique experience at the Nam Tok Ron in the Tambon Klong Tom Nua, 12 km. from the District Headquarters.

15. Than Bokharani National Park

Located in Ao Luk, is Than Bokharani National Park. Shady trails wind through the park’s magnificent forest. Walk through the park to the cave at the river’s source and enjoy a cool dip in the crystal-clear small lake in front of the cave. It is said that if you swim once in the waters here, you will always come back.

16. Ao Luk Ao Luk

is also famous for a number of other beautiful natural sites, including the spectacular Diamond, Tham Hua Galok (famous for its ancient cave paintings) and Tham Lod caves. All three caves are close together and can be seen using a long tail boat from Than Bokharani, including a breathtaking sail through Tham Lod to view stalactites and stalagmites.

17. Tham Pee Hua Toe or Tham Hua Galok

It’s a large cave with many grottos, situated on a hill in the middle of the water, surrounded by mangroves. Long ago, a human skull of larger than ordinary size was found in the cave from which came the name “Pee Hua Toe” or “Big-headed ghost”, aside from this, there are a lot of prehistoric drawings on the cave walls representing people, animals, and various organs. There are also vast numbers of shells in the sedimentary rock. To get there, take a boat from Bor Tor Pier, the same place you would leave from to get to Tham Lod Nua Tai.

Reservations The best way to make a reservation is writing e-mail through our Internet web site: www.thalanebayvillage.com.

Prices Prices are guaranteed in THB, the bill will be issued in THB. The exchange rate in currency is given as rough guide.

Payment You will receive reservation confirmation and only one invoice within 5 days confirming dates, price and description of the reserved property. To accept the booking, a deposit of 30% of the total amount has to be paid to “Tha Lane Bay Village”. The balance must be paid at least thirty days before arrival date. Payment must be completed by money transfer. For prompt reservation, less than 29 days before arrival date, full payment is required. In this case the contract conditions come into force once the final payment has been received. By your payment you accept the terms of the agreement based on the reservation confirmation. If deposit is not received, we reserve the right to cancel the provisional reservation. If the balance is not paid on time, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. Modification by the client If the client wishes to modify his reservation after it has been confirmed, we will do all we can to comply. Amendments should be sent in writing or email no later than 31 days before his arrival date. If the modification is not possible, it will be considered to be a cancellation and will be dealt with according to the conditions detailed below. Cancellation If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be charges: – Cancellation received 90 days or more before arrival date = 10% of the rental – Cancellation received 89 to 29 days before arrival date = 50% of the rental – Cancellation received 28 to 2 days before arrival date = 80% of the rental – Cancellation received 1 day before arrival on the day of arrival or after of arrival date = 100% of the rental cost. The reference date is the date of receipt of your notification by the booking agent (if this is a Sunday or holiday, the reference date will be the next working day). If the property is not occupied or occupied late, the full invoice amount remains payable.

Damage deposit A damage deposit is requested on the client’s arrival, by credit card print as a guaranty. The Local key holder is not obliged to hand the keys over until the damage deposit has been paid. The deposit will be refunded on departure directly by the local key holder after deduction of any.

Legal Action The court of first instance in Bangkok Thailand shall settle any legal action.
